Preserving Trails & Trail Access

Many mountain bike trails in the Caerphilly and surrounding south Wales area are loved by our community—but they are not formally recognised and managed. Without proper recognition and support these trails could be closed or lost. South Wales is recognised as one of the best mountain biking spots in the U.K. yet it’s longevity as a mountain biking destination is at risk without better organisation of the trail network.

The South Wales Trails Association has recently been created to secure access, maintain trails sustainably, and protect them for the future. Your support shows landowners, councils, and decision-makers that these trails are valuable to the local community and deserve to be preserved.
